The label also provided her with guidance. and support, allowing her to flourish creatively and professionally. Rick Melodies Touch quickly gained recognition in the music industry, with Pegie’s soulful voice captivating audiences across the region and beyond, earning her recognition and respect in the music industry. Her unique sound has been compared to legends like Adasa Dasa and Nadia Mukami, solidifying her status as a rising star in the music scene.

Her musical collection boasts hits like “Kila Time Bol” and “My Sherry,” which gave her the title of Best Female Artist. Other notable tracks include “Nimechoka” and “Amani,” which have topped the charts and earned her multiple awards. “In a short time under Ricky Melodies Touch, I managed to release my first single song, “Kila time bol. The song performed well in terms of fan reception and music play on various radio stations on the Kenyan Coast. I was also privileged to secure an interview with one of the leading radio stations in the region, Pili Pili FM (now Msenangu FM), in its late-night show hosted by Presenter Kassim and Sophy female artist, which I won. 

It pleased me that almost everyone appreciated my efforts in the music industry. The same year, I managed to release another one of my hit songs, ‘My Sherry, recorded by A Million Records Production.”

Pegie has collaborated with esteemed artists like Shabiggy Kimbo and Swahib Wa Maselle, showcasing her versatility and collaborative spirit. Her performances alongside Kenyan lead artists such as Nyota Ndogo, Susumila, and Sauti Sol have captivated audiences far and wide.
