The Mekatilili Awards is a prestigious recognition program that aims to celebrate and honor exceptional individuals in our community who have demonstrated remarkable achievements and resilience.

Interested in being a sponsor?

This two-day event, Mekatilili Awards will be held on March 1st and 2nd, 2024. The first day will be a trade fair and the next day will be the awards ceremony. Prior to the event, there will be activities like the nomination, which will take place for a month, and then we will have our judges select our top nominees. This will pave the way for the voting process that will now decide the winners.

Our target audience is Kilifi at large, which involves the seven constituencies (Kilifi North, Kilifi South, Kilifi County, Bamba, Rabai, Malindi, and Ganze). The plan is to work with the community mobilizers who will ensure nominations and voting take place effectively.

As a sponsor of the Mekatilili Awards, you will have an invaluable advantage depending on the package, some of which will involve brand publication, where all our merchandise will be branded with your logos. You will have a chance to have both direct and indirect contact with our nominees, audience, and winners not forgetting any outreach program that will happen prior to or during the event you will be mentioned. Supporting our event means empowering people in society who are working towards making a difference, not just for themselves but for others as well. They are our heroes.

You can come in through donations, which range from 30,000 to 100,000. Our Bronze sponsorship package starts at 100,000, our Gold sponsorship at 300,000, and our Title sponsorship package at 500,000.

Steps to being a sponsor

To be a sponsor, you first learn about us (research), or alternatively, you can have us explain more about the event by reaching out to us at our official email, mekatililiaward@knobdigital.org. You then choose a package that is either Title, gold, or bronze. This helps us take you through the benefits depending on the package selected, and once everything is agreed upon, we sign the agreement. Upon completion of the agreed date, you will be needed to fulfill the payments or services as agreed.
