Community Mobilizer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and establish partnerships with relevant organizations,

influencers, and communities to promote the awards ceremony.

2. Nomination Promotion: Develop and execute strategies to encourage nominations

from various communities and sectors, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates.

3. Voting Campaigns: Organize and manage voting campaigns, leveraging social media,

email marketing, and community events to engage the public.

4. Outreach Programs: Conduct awareness-raising activities and workshops in communities

to inform them about the awards and encourage participation.

5. Collaborative Initiatives: Coordinate with local organizations and institutions to

co-host events and activities that promote the awards ceremony.

6. Public Relations: Represent the awards ceremony in the community, addressing inquiries,

and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.

7. Content Creation: Generate engaging content for social media, website, and other

communication channels to keep the community informed and involved.

8. Monitoring and Reporting: Track engagement metrics, nomination counts,

and voting participation, providing regular reports to assess campaign effectiveness.

9. Logistics and Event Support: Assist in organizing the awards ceremony, including logistical

arrangements and on-site support during the event.

Qualifications:

– Certificate in Communication, Community Development, or a related field.

– Experience in community mobilization, event coordination, or related roles.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.

– Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing, and basic graphic design tools.

– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

– Familiarity with local community networks and organizations.

– Experience in organizing awards ceremonies or similar events.

– Knowledge of relevant software for data tracking and reporting.
